In partnership with the American University in Sulaymaniyah and the Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS), a panel discussion was held with Ahmed Tabaqli and Rania Bakr, colleagues at the Institute, today, Sunday, and the discussion focused on “ meeting the challenges of the industry in Iraq.”
Mrs. Rania Bakr explored the industrial sector and its potential, not only in reviving revenue flows in the country but also in supporting other sectors in Iraq.
In his speech, Mr. Tabaqli focused on the factors that led to sharp rises in oil and food prices during the last eighteen months, which intensified following the invasion of Ukraine.
The discussion session was opened among the attendees to share their knowledge and benefit from their practical experiences. Where the audience included specialists interested in economics and politics.
