Political Awareness Club

The club was established in 2017 to encourage discussion of contemporary political issues, foreign and domestic, by holding sessions, roundtables, open discussions and events, where prominent politicians meet with different community members' categories. The club was the first in Najaf, and played such a significant role in the city's political landscape. It aimed to raise political consciousness amongst youth and foster active participation in political processes. It provided a platform for discussion, debate, and education on various political topics, including human rights, democracy, and civic engagement. Additionally, it represented a free space for young people to voice their opinions and concerns, and engage with political leaders and policymakers. Besides, it helps to promote social cohesion and facilitate dialogue between different political parties in Iraq. The club plays a significant role promoting democratic principles and upholding good governance in the country.
